The new era of WILD NIGHTS

With an overwhelming response from our unbelievably loyal customers past and present, it’s about time we addressed the elephant in the room.
The rumours are true, our beloved dancing tables are no more as we could no longer find insurance for Table Top Dancing.
The Woolshed, voted “The Best Backpacker Night – Australia 2018 + 2019 in The Adventure Tourism Awards, is still committed to providing the BEST parties in country and our new space is proving to be a hit already!
The space where the dancing tables once stood has been totally transformed. We’ve installed a raised platform, just short of the old table height giving you the best view of the dance floor, extra space & a surrounding bar to lean on & rest your drinks while your shaking you’re booty!
We would like to say THANK YOU for all the love and support you’ve given the business over the past 25 years, we look forward to another 25 years of wild nights!

Best Backpacker Night – Australia 2 years in a row!

Over 280 people across Australia & New Zealand made the pilgrimage to The Island Hotel on the Gold Coast last week for the annual Adventure Tourism Conference & Awards, the most highly regarded event for the Backpacker, Youth & Adventure Tourism Industry recognising outstanding achievements across a multitude of categories.

The Woolshed was crowned “Best Backpacker Night Australia” in the Adventure Tourism Awards for the 2nd year in a row!

“This year we celebrate 25 years of Backpacker parties so this was the icing on the cake, you can be sure the celebrations will continue for the next few months as we move into our party season!” – Leah Bursztynowicz, Sales & Marketing Manager.
